- Sleeping bag (rated for expected overnight low)

Clothing and Layers
- Moisture-wicking base layer tops (x2+) (merino or synthetic — no cotton)
- Warm mid-layer (fleece or insulated jacket)
- Waterproof and windproof jacket with hood
- Waterproof over-pants or rain pants
- Camp pants (1–2 pairs)
- Shorts (if weather permits)
- Wool or synthetic socks (x1 per day + 1 spare)
- Underwear (x1 per day)
- Warm beanie or buff
- Sun hat or cap with brim

- Thermal base layer bottoms (if cold expected)
